At The End of the Day

Today our visitors from the Netherlands spent their second to last day in our home. Honestly, I can't believe the energy these two have. In any case, they received visitors of their own this afternoon and even though it started with tears, their young friends had lots to discuss. I mean to say there's many stories to tell from the land of Kindergarten.

Prince Layne was . . . well . . . a prince, to say the least. He baked cookies and even sat and watched the Lakers for a little while with Oma from Holland. It's fun trying to teach people from Holland about basketball (Fisher ruled the court tonight), American football and baseball. Wait, did I say fun? It's a bear! LOL. I had no idea how hard it is to explain these games when a person knows pretty much only soccer.

But at the end of the day, it was all about enjoying each others company and even the weather becomes a topic of interest. And isn't it sweet to know that age holds no bounds. Is that the right saying. Oh well, here's what I mean . . . .

And just in case anyone outside of LA is interested I am posting a little blurp about the mighty undefeated Lakers. Cause you know I had to.
