FreedomFest: Washington Days

We spent last night packing but still got to bed at an indecent hour. Early this morning we made the 100 mile journey to church, then purchased our gourmet lunch from In & Out, and spent the afternoon with a friend who made my hair look pretty. Maybe I'll actually publish a photograph soon.

At this moment we are getting cozy in our second home, Motel 6, because we would never make our AM flight if we went home. So we shall spend a week working and playing in Snohomish, Washington. It's our favorite part of the year. It's mostly hard work for my young lord while I get to do a lot of running around with cousins.

Come visit the festival here if you can't be with us. Or listen to FreedomFest Radio. Can't wait to hear Skillet, Pillar and Seventh Day Slumber. Of course, there's a gazillion more bands to hear and things to do. And we are going to do a Skype experiment. We shall see how smart we are. Here's one of Princess S.' favorite acts.

Oh Nice!! Ok, but you're going to have to make a "Cool Mom" award button. We'll start awarding to other moms. Like YOU!!!! What kid wouldn't want a mom who rides a dirt bike.
