Do You Have a Sport Addiction?

Gatekeeper's confession--she watches way too many sporting events. Makes for a good time and she's quite fun to hang out with. So your nfl picks would be a good topic at this forum. Or if it is baseball you are diligently watching these days you might want to share news regarding your favorite team and all the latest updates with them. Lady Gatekeeper shall stick with her Angels even though we're not quite sure which city they belong to at this particular moment. Stay with me now.

Nonetheless, this is the time for all sport addicts to decide what on Earth to watch--we have hockey playoffs, NASCAR, NBA playoffs (Lakers rule), baseball and the all-exciting NFL draft to waste our time with. Have fun!

Summer Delights

Recipe of the Week from Mom's Cookbook!! Summer Salad You Won't Believe! This is weird, wonderful and you've got to try it.

This is Salad? Salad

Ingredients:

6 to 8 baby spinach
4 oz. Yoplait (fat free very cherry yogurt)
1 small to half regular red onion (thinly sliced then halved)
2 snack-size boxes of "Golden and Cherries" by Sun Maid
10 to 15 cherry tomatoes
1 oz. honey roasted sliced almonds
6 oz. Yoplait (fat free very vanilla yogurt)

Put all ingredients, except yogurt, into a large bowl and toss. Mix very vanilla, and very cherry yogurt together in a small bowl. Wait to add to salad until time to serve. When time to serve, add yogurt and toss well. Keep everything nicely chilled.

Let me know how it turned out for you if you try it. And, by the way, remember, you'll find more awesome recipes from Indonesia, Holland, Australia and the good ole USA in Mom's cook book, COME AND DINE.

Raising Taxes For A Good Cause

Now there's something I would gladly put my tax dollars into. Just my opinion, what do you say?

Computers, Ink and Troubleshooting

With the piles of necessary reports to print, newsletters to hand out and brochures to create, it would indeed be nice to find a few discounts on those ink cartridges now and again. For example, deep discounts would be appreciated off Dell all-in-one multifunction machine supplies. One can breathe a deep sigh of relief, so to speak.

All right then, let us find coupon codes. Knock a little off those sky high prices here and there from major brands? Canon, Epson, Brother or Dell? Sweetness! Furthermore, here's seven tips for saving ink. A must-read as one can imagine. It is not only one store, by the way, that offers up to 80% off retail pricing. Indeed, the good folks at InkjetDeals have a list of stores available for you all to browse through.

And if you need to do a little troubleshooting (that's always a special treat for the Gatekeeper) check out these tips and make life a little easier. One must take care of all that gibberish or connections lost etc. with stubborn inkjet printers.

In any case, the expense of running a small business or even a home computer can be mighty expensive. Save yourselves a few dollars, or a hefty amount of gold bars, and find those quality printer supplies for prices you can deal with.

Death And Taxes?

There she sits, in the comfort of her small castle, patiently waiting to hear if she shall receive, on time, the vital information Lady Gatekeep needs to file her tax return. It's not looking all that good. She had no idea, of course, she actually earned a decent living on the internet. Oh bother! It appears to be more than a few dollars and cents.

Little dark box with a ringer sits quietly beside her laptop. Ring, I say, ring! Just one little line is missing and they promised to call. Well, she shall have patience. This little report will be written on a Yuwie blog so LG can make more money. And so it goes. After all, even the Lord paid to Caesar his dues.

Keepers Of Time

It has long been a tradition in the GateKeeper's castle to tell the time by the rising of the sun or the setting thereof. A habit a good and proper grandfather clock might rectify at this point of our history. Nonetheless, Lady Gatekeep has always wanted a clock so extravagant and so precise that time would never be lost again. A nice gesture, indeed!

The castle's interior design consists of a few columns, arched beams and many curves. There inside a hollow column, facing the double French doors, she should set the TimeKeeper she has always wanted--a rather romantic Ridgeway Majorca Grandfather Clock to be precise. This Grandfather clock is very tall and slender with hand painted dials. Nice! Its soft dual melodies will fill the castle with peace and as darkness falls one can silence the music, if so desired.

Furthermore, our young Prince has a fancy to change the home decor in his part of the castle. There is help for him to at least choose a functional mantel clock for his stony wall just over the fireplace. In any case, one will appreciate the variety of new clocks to choose from that will cheer your castle as well as those Grandfather Clocks of years gone by and of every style imaginable.

1-800-4Clocks is where one would find anything from Howard Miller Clocks to Hermle Clocks. I dare say, it is a pleasant shopping experience. And please, do take your time.

The Big Bang Theory

There, there, Lady Gatekeeper has been published at the People's Media once again. I dare say, she believes it was not a difficult task but one she thoroughly enjoyed. It is after all a journal of sorts about the adventures, or rather the misadventures, of her young Prince in the land of movie stars.

It was a fine day in Burbank on a fine piece of land known as Warner Brothers. Please come and read just how the day went. The Prince would love to hear your comments. And one might guess that in his blessed future he might acquire a regular spot on the small screen. We are hoping after all. So do visit as the story continues.
