This has brought wildlife out of the wooded areas into our back yard searching for water. They found it. Our local coyotes, and a nice population of birds, are now very happy and thirst no more. Happy to oblige. We're still smiling. It took four days to empty the pool. We'll go to work and level the ground today.
And on a happier note or not . . . I drove about 180 miles last night to bring Lord Spanky to his church group. I'm not really complaining. He really needs these things. You know, hanging out with friends. They had a pool party. Mmm. I waited in our church parking lot and caught up on my reading--"That Hideous Strength" is almost finished. I shall do the review asap.
In any case, Lord Spanky was then invited to spend the weekend at K's house which made for a very lonely trip back home. Thank the Lord for Kutless (who, btw, is looking for a new guitar player).
Here's the most excellent, rather awesome, fantastic band, "Kutless," live! And . . . appropiately, with "Sea of Faces."

Your blog is gorgeous and interesting to boot!
I'm glad you are the blog of the day over at PayPerPost so I could find you!
I hope this doesn't post twice. Sorry if it did.
Oh, thanks, Karen. I'll have to go check out PPP. I wasn't aware of being blog of the day. How exciting and scary.
Hilarious post.
Enjoyed Kutless!
Thanks, Sharon Lynne. Can't wait to hear about your next biking adventure. Did you know Yamaha . . . wait . . . Susuki (one of those) now sponsors Kutless? Anyway, I don't know how you could put all that gear on in this heat. You go girl!
