A Friday Live Journal

This post shall be updated throughout this glorious day, for anyone that would be interested. Let us see where such an idea will take us. I will not keep anything from anyone.

The waking hour was 8:30am (bedtime had been 2:00am) and after washing my face and all that I went outside (it was already 70 degrees F.). Cleaning the new gifts those delightful pooches left us?--Always a nice start to any day. Heard a coyote and high tailed out of there. Of course, it could have been our neighbor's baby. I apologize.

I vacuumed, cleaned the table where I found a melted orange popsicle and also a green one for that matter, and did the usual morning yodle to wake up home-school child.

Around 9:00 am, I sat down to read about good kings (not many found) and evil, wicked ones (too many of those) in the book of Chronicles. This of course got me to thinking that even God's people will make really bad decisions. Present company included.

Then I also read this: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves (Philippians 2:3). No commentary needed here, I'm sure. In any case, this I will try to live by (at least for today and tomorrow etc.).

10:00am--Neighbor girl (Lady Peas), has come to visit the castle. She brought breakfast (bear claws) and like little girls we giggled and talked around the coffee table. Writing will resume in a while.

11:30am--Neighbor to the right, Lady Peas, and I have decided to go into business together. Oh my. Not only have I joined
the Disciples' Cross
affiliate program, but we will actually be making these awesome
Crosses
. Now there's a journey we're anxious to travel. We are sending for the kit today. It sounds amazing. We shall let you know.

Oh, btw, homeschool boy has finally awaken and school is in. We are so slacking of this last 2 weeks of school. Ah, yes, well deserved.
