Another year added to our sweet College Girl--she is nineteen today. Yes, yes, I feel ancient and have gracefully accepted that . Princess S. has one year of higher learning from Biola under her belt and is looking forward to Summer school. Lady Gatekeep's intention, however, is to have her enjoy the summer, maybe a part time job, but a break from school will keep her healthy and sane.So let us explore this historical day. Princess S. has moved back into her castle above the guest quarters with all her belongings which could fill another castle. The Boys from GE came over and installed security throughout the Manor so Princess can feel safe--protection feels good. Then Princess College Girl went out to dinner with a friend while Lady Gatekeeper finally managed to restore her laptop after a fatal crash. Oh my!
All in all it was a fine day. Happy Birthday Princess!

Happy belated birthday to your Princess. Seems like we have more in common than we know. You see I too have a 19 year old. Except, Soaring Amongst The Clouds will turn 20 this year. YIKES! Time sure flies...
Oh, but wait... my Still Waters will be 19 in August. So we still have something else in common... we both have one whose this will be their last "teen years". This is all bittersweet...
