The Manna Foundation

It is commonly believed that Lady Gatekeeper is the first generation in her family that did not follow in said family's footsteps. What is it we are known for? Let us explore: Opa (grandpa) served in KNIL (Dutch Indonesian Army) and lead worship in church, Father is pastor, Uncle D. is missionary (served in USA navy), Uncle F. and wife are missionaries (son is former Marine, granddaughter serves in US Air Force), Uncle D. son is missionary (he rocks!) , Auntie O's husband is pastor, Uncle Da. (though a little rebelious, led worship in church), Uncle B. and wife are missionaries . . . needless to say this list does tend to go on a bit.

Gatekeeper is not headed for mission field anytime soon (though Kenya was almost a part of her journey this year). She shall write about her family's endeavors however. This will begin a series of salutes to Gatekeep's family. Well done, I say . . . Here is the saga of Oom Frits and Tante Gerda in Thailand and The Manna Foundation.
