Well, I thought it was time I actually start reading the books I always said I would. Thus is the reason I've joined a list of wonderful and crazy readers at TBR (To Be Read), or something to the effect of that name, and accepted the challenge to read 12 books in 2007. Very proud to say that I got off to a roaring good start and have finished my book for January which was Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl.
It was advantageous to read this book since I'm writing my mom's WWII POW story from 1942. Does that make sense? Anne's last chapters broke my heart and I had to cry for a few minutes. I'm just beginning to realize what my parents went through and I certainly have a deeper respect for them both.
Here's my 2007 TBR List:
1. Anne Frank: Diary Of A Young Girl (Finished 1/23/07)
2. Nephilim Seed, James Scott Bell (Finished 1/30/07)
3. Out Of The Silent Planet, C.S. Lewis(Finished 3/27/07)

I read Frank E. Peretti's "This Present Darkness" years ago and think that will be my next book to curl up with!
My youngest son would have all of these books read by the end of the month if he knew about this list! He loves to read!
Oh, I wish I could get my son to read. He strongly dislikes reading unless it's Captain Underpants. What's up with that?????
Let me know what you think of "This Present Darkness."
