Finals

Before they get their six-week break the kids at Biola University will have to endure one more week of finals. My daughter sounds very tired and a little distracted, but today she got a little surprise from mom and dad--a twelve-pound bag of candy delivered right to her room!! Okay, thank the Lord for student ministries who also put an apple and an orange in there. Well, that should get her through final week sweetly enough.

This is my public statement to a wonderful daughter who, btw, is the first generation to make it to college: "We are so proud of you! You can do this, you were made for this and you will get through it. Love you and we shall see you this Christmas."

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (or direct your paths).

Aren't you just the sweet parents? I do hope she shares that loot with her friends, to spread the sweetness round. :)

Hehehe, her friends?? Yeah, I'm hoping she will. I mean, what is one child to do with 12 lbs. of candy?
