In any case, we had a wonderful Christmas . . . a little low on the presents but we really enjoyed being with each other. My two kids and I have started a new Christmas tradition. It's kind of a common one in the US, but we made it official for the three of us. We went to church in the morning (Rock Harbor), then went to lunch (Johnny Rockets where their dad joined us) and then we saw a movie (Sherlock Holmes). Afterward we took what little money we had left and filled our tummies with chocolate. It was wonderful.
Once we were at their cozy home in Huntington Beach, we watched a football game and then we had some good laughs with MTV's "Ridiculousness." I don't ever watch MTV anymore, guess I've outgrown it, but this show gathers all the Youtube videos and puts them in hilarious categories; some of it funny, some painful, some just too cute for words. The commentary of the host just makes it more hilarious.
This brings my Monday Musings to my favorite Youtube videos, most of which I posted on Facebook. I'm still wondering if Youtube is one step away from illegal but that's a post for another time.
Video number 1: O, Holy Night. A Christmas carol done the way it should be. I just love the way it starts so mellow but the lead vocalist gives it away.

So 2011 is coming to an end. It went by so fast. But we can say Christmas continues, right? After all, "... Mary and Joseph ... returned to Nazareth. And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him" (Luke 2:40). May the grace of God be upon you as we look toward a
