New Writing Project: Cooking With Friends

Lady Gatekeeper's manuscript is in the hands of the "publisher" who asked for it. No news yet. In the meantime, other writing projects will continue. We are self-publishing a book of poetry to raise money for single moms at our church and cook book number II is now in its beginning stages. We have a staff of three and a faithful following of extraordinary cooks.

Yes indeed, we are gathering recipes for Cook Book number two, tentatively called "Cooking With Friends" because we started it with all our friends on Facebook. Hopefully this will be more than just a cook book with story-book illustrations, anecdotes, devotionals touched by a cooking theme, cartoon strips, doodles and a fun character who will introduce each section and have little golden nuggets of kitchen wisdom.

If you would like to send us some of your unique and original recipes we will give you credit (a by line) and your name will be placed in our monthly drawing for some great prizes.

Prizes include; gift certificates from Target, ITunes, Barnes & Noble, Amazon; Comic books, novels and a copy of our first book, "Come and Dine." More prizes to be announced soon.
