TT Ed #6

Thirteen Things I did with, or for my kids since last Thursday

1. Transferred money to my college girl

2. Drove my son eighty miles to his youth group at church and shared some fries and ice-cream on the way home.

3. Had lengthy conversations with college girl through IMs.

4. Watched the World Series: we still love David Eckstein and Jeff Weaver

5. Went to church with both of my kids. That's always sweet and wonderful.

6. Had lunch and went to HomeBrew to have caramel frap

7. Stayed in a hotel in bad part of town: prayer really does work.

8. Drove over one hundred miles to get to movie location

9. Played and worked on Zuma Beach, Malibu

10. Took my son to the bank to learn how to deposit and withdraw money

11. Chased our run-a-way dogs over the Expressway: they make beautiful puppies but no more!

12. Talked about tithing: tough subject but they'll learn it's all for good

13. Prayed together

Wow - busy week for you! :) Sounds like you had a good time, though, and that's what counts! I've done that dog chasing bit... a lot... though never through busy traffic!

that's really great about you helping your children learn about money handling and tithing. I don't recall my parents taking such a proactive role, but maybe that's not such a bad thing because I never remember hearing Mom complain about no money! I guess there's a balancing act.

Anyways, you made me think today :) thanks for visiting my T13
